King Crazy's Turtle hut was born to help old turtles, abandoned turtles, and sick turtles. We have of course started to help other reptiles along the way. We have a great time caring for all of them no matter the difficulty.
We offer a ground floor view of what it takes to care for so many different needs. We offer temporary housing for emergency needs, we know life happens. Our consultation services can get you an abundance of info for your pet. we take in animals that are not venomous, can usually be held in a 40 gallon, a turtle, or just give us a chat and we'll see what we can do to help you.
All the animals seen here either came from a bad situation, outgrew their home or was a pet store save. We have geckos, frogs, toads, snakes, and turtles. the care for each animal is different and chances are if you are reading it in a book it's out dated. We enjoy teaching for those willing to learn.

From dynamic bioactive builds to developing networks of like minds as we tackle some of the worlds toughest problems.
Our live stream Turtle Talk will be live every Tues 9pm est on Youtube. We will host our Pet Mindfulness Friday 10pm est on Instagram. Come with an open mind, questions or your concerns. We will be here doing our night work and answering questions and capturing crazy animal behavior.
I can't remember when I didn't have an animal. I was a teen when I rescued my first reptile, an iguana with a missing tail. Perfectly normal, lived like he didn't notice his tail was growing. Rampage taught me two valuable lessons early, secure everything and retail pet stores care more about money than the souls they care for. I try my best to stay away from them because I always leave with an animal that needs care. I got Slyder about 20 years ago and she changed my life. She was an old turtle who barely had room to turn around in her tank. her growth was stunted from no room and she was angry. I got her a huge tank and filled it with what would be destroyed later because I know nothing about turtles. I learned a lot and recently started the turtle hut. I started King Crazy's Turtle Hut because Covid caused a lot of abandoned pets in need. cute baby turtles are easy to find homes for but go to any reptile rescue and turtles are abundant.turtles in the pet trade are cheap to get expensive to keep. the red eared slider is one of the most invasive, wild populations being found on every continent.(not the arctic) I decided long ago to be the change I want to see in the world. The Turtle Hut was born with the intention to make the pet world better.
